Each grade converts to grade points (A = 4.0, B = 3.0, and so on). Multiply each grade's points by its credit hours, add those up, and divide by total credit hours.
The standard 4.0 scale where A+ and A both equal 4.0. Some schools award 4.3 for A+, so check your school's policy if your transcript uses a different scale.
